Cinematic Wedding Films in the Italian Dolomites
Your wedding day is an irreplaceable chapter in your story. As a wedding videographer in South Tyrol and the Dolomites, I capture exactly this magic in cinematic quality. It is the fleeting glances, the quiet laughter, and the unposed tears of joy that bring a film to life. My goal is to create memories that will touch you deeply even decades from now.
Elopement Videography & Destination Weddings in South Tyrol
I am Patrick, your silent observer on the big day. My approach is based on the fly on the wall principle. This means: I do not intervene as a director, but document the events unobtrusively from the background. This allows me to capture the genuine atmosphere of your destination wedding or mountain elopement without ever disrupting the natural flow.

Dolomites Elopement Location Guide
Everything you need to know before choosing your backdrop.
Pragser Wildsee (Lago di Braies)
Lago di Braies, at 1,496 m in the Natural Park Fanes-Senes-Braies, is arguably the most photographed alpine lake in the Dolomites. Access is limited. I recommend a sunrise shoot to use the best light without the crowds. Since popular spots such as the rowing boat jetty must be booked early, timely planning is essential. Specific guidelines apply to video production within the natural park, which I explain to you in detail at booking. The 3 km loop trail offers numerous iconic perspectives.
Tre Cime di Lavaredo
The three striking Dolomite peaks of the Sesto Natural Park at 2,999 m are among the best-known rock formations in the Alps. Access to the car park at Rifugio Auronzo is via a toll road costing approximately 40 EUR per car, with mandatory advance online reservation (as of 2026). Whether right at the peaks or with a view of the Cadini di Misurina, the backdrop is unique. We follow the natural park's guidelines. A shoot is especially worthwhile at sunrise or sunset in golden light.
Seceda, Val Gardena
The Seceda plateau above Ortisei offers a dramatic 2,518 m ridge with an open view across Val Gardena toward the Sassolungo group. Access is usually via the cable car. Depending on the season and sunrise, I recommend being at the top especially early to enjoy the best light undisturbed. Natural park guidelines apply here too, which we discuss in advance. Combining the two locations Seceda and Alpe di Siusi is logistically possible.
Hidden Gems
Beyond the world-famous highlights, the Dolomites offer countless hidden places that are at least as spectacular. These quieter spots are perfect for intimate elopements far from the tourist crowds. As a passionate alpinist, I am also open to alpine shoots beyond the Dolomites. If you bring an affinity for mountain sports, we can plan even more extraordinary and adventurous locations together. For serious enquiries with a firm booking, I share my personal insider tips exclusively with you.
