Construction Timelapse FAQ
A weatherproof camera is installed at a strategically chosen position on the construction site and automatically captures photos at configurable intervals. In post-production, these individual frames are assembled into a smooth timelapse video that compresses weeks or months into minutes.
The equipment is designed for outdoor use under alpine conditions. The camera systems are IP65 certified (dustproof and water-jet protected) and run 100 percent self-sufficiently on powerful batteries and solar panels.
The system is fundamentally designed for autonomous long-term operation over many months. The exact runtime depends on local conditions, in particular the amount of sunlight for the solar panel and the stability of the mobile connection. Necessary maintenance and function checks are already included in my service package.

The final timelapse video is delivered in high-resolution 4K UHD as MP4. On request, I am happy to create monthly interim clips as project progress updates, as well as a final version with music, title cards and company logo.
Yes, monthly progress clips (15 to 25 seconds) are a very popular add-on. They are excellent for social media, investor communication and internal project documentation. The interval of the progress reports is agreed in advance.
